Edward Winters is an artist and writer. He taught at the Polytechnic of Central London School of Architecture and its later incarnation, the University of Westminster. He was Head of Fine Art at the private West Dean College (Edward James Foundation) where he wrote and maintained University of Sussex masters courses in the visual arts. Most recently, before retirement from teaching, he taught part-time at University of Kent in its History and Philosophy of Art program. He has contributed to international conferences and has published widely in aesthetics and art criticism. He continues to make art in various media.
